Faceup Commissions...

I'm thinking of starting faceup commissions, so that I can have some practice and build my portfolio and stuff like that :)

I prolly won't start until I finish my own dolls, because at the moment I don't really have anything to put up XD

I need to think of some kind of catchy name for it. I am terrible at thinking of names haha.

This is late, I know. But Merry christmas to those who celebrate it! And to those who don't happy holidays! And happy new year! It's New Year's eve here, so yes.  2010, where did you go? My this year has gone quickly! Hope you're all having a wonderful time and that many dollies come your way in 2011 :)

I am faceupping all the doll crew except for Winter, who already has a lovely faceup done by Mingyi on DoA. And Wolff is pretty much done.

So the dolls are currently sitting about headless, or in the case of Autumn, legless and headless as I need to blush her hoovies as well XD

When the dolls are finished, I'll be able to post more pics :) Hopefully I'll be able to buy myself a new camera soon enough, so that I will be able to take better photos, as my current camera is dying a slow painful death...

Autumn is here :D

My soom minette centaur is here, I love her to bits!! Her name is Autumn.

She needs her own wig, at the moment she's wearing the spare one, which is lovely but none of my dolls (so far mwahaha) suit it. I think a carrot-y mohair wig will suit her. I still need to buy her eyes, faceup her and get the wig.

In real life, the stumpiness of her legs seems less pronounced I think, I actually don't mind the little legs and think they're pretty cute, but I know a lot of people really didn't like them.

I'm so thrilled to have her home so quickly, I have so much love for this little centaur <3

New Layout :)

Triple BJD box opening!!

Soooo Bellanora and Wolff arrived a few days ago :D They're both MNFs. Bellanora is a Juri 10 (girl) and Wolff is a Karsh (boy)

Faceupping Faelyn

I am currently trying to faceup my MNF Lishe girl, Faelyn. It is proving difficult lol. This is my second faceup, and the first one with eyebrows. I hate eyebrows now haha. Trying to get them even, and realistic and blah was so hard. Once I'm done with her faceup I'll post piccies :)

I just ordered SOOM Minette! I am so excited!!

A lot of people didn't like their stubby legs, but I think they're kinda cute. At first I was a little thrown but now I love them! XD

I am just getting the horned head and then centaur body, not the human version. Mainly because I can't afford the human version as well and I don't really see why I need it. I'm happy with just the horned head and centaur body for me <3

Faelyn has FINALLY arrived!! I AM SO HAPPY!!!

My MNF Lishe, Faelyn, has finally shipped after 12 weeks of waiting! It's not too long though, some people have had to wait much longer. I can't wait to have her! I'll be posting a box opening here and on my YouTube too.

My approach to faceups...

Lily and I were chatting about faceupping our dolls...the conversation went like this. Yes, this did really happen.

Me: How hard do you reckon faceupping them will be?

Lily: I'm going to venture and say hard....

Me: Well, we did heaps of the Blythes, and we did Mooble's.

Lily: Yeah...but this is detailed


Me: But we can DO THIS!

Lily: Do you think we need a faceupping dance?

Me: Definitely *runs to get iPod* Do you think we can faceup dance to Lady gaga?

Lily: Sure

Both of us: *Starts to randomly kick and flail about whilst yelling WE CAN DO THESE FACEUUUPS!!*

Me: Well, that was refreshing.

Lily: I'm sure that will have helped our faceupping.

Me: Well, we'll have to wait until our dollies come in and see.

Lily: Indeedy-do.

Me: If not, we can leave it up to the fact that faceup dancing is hard to Lady gaga...

Getting KIZdoll Saiy! (Probably)

I am very excited :) He will be my first SD sized doll, and he's 63/64cm (The site says 63, but some owners say 64, but oh well, close enough)

In my little resin bunch, MSDs are the adult size, tinies are children. So the SDs are giants. As in the mythical kind. My doll world is set in the real world but there are unknown Faerie creatures that surround the normal humans. Such as elves, giants, vampires etc.

I'm going to need to think of a character for him...But I want him to have black hair. That's pretty much all I know about him at the moment, he's a giant with long black hair.

DOLLY HALLOWEEN!

I am planning on dressing up my dolls for Halloween, and myself.  Two of my incoming dolls won't be here for Halloween, but three of them will. I think Mooble, my Puki Puki will be a pumpkin (yeh not very original, but I think she'd be a cute pumpkin!) Winter, my LTF Winking Ante, I have no idea. She could do a witchy thing or maybe a vampire. And Faelyn I will probably dress as like a gothy fairy (Hmm, that probably doesn't make sense) But I want her to look something like this:

Yeah, I know, it was a very quick, cruddy picture done in five minutes just to show what I mean by Gothy Fairy. 

I'm not sure if I'll go with these, but this is what I'm thinking of for them for now.

Faelyn is NEARLY HEREE!!

My MNF Lishe, Faelyn, is nearly here! Apparently, she should be here in a week or two!! :))) I am so excited! I can't wait until she gets here!! I will spam the hec out of you guys heheheh. And I'll probably do a box opening vid on my YouTube too.

Doll Market day!

I went to a doll market today which was AWESOME! It had heaps of stuff for BJDs! It was amazing to see all the clothes in person rather than just on the internet, it was a fantastic experience! I can't wait until next year! ^^ I got a corset for my incoming doll Bellanora and a pair of jeans for Lily's Canican! I'll post pics sometime, but my computer hates me and might not let me...

Doll updates :)

Well as some of you may now, we have dollies on the way currently :) Unfortuantely, we still have no updates on when they'll be coming in. I'm in my 9th week of waiting for Faelyn (MNF Lishe) but I still haven't gotten the email from DDE saying that they have her in and they'll be sending her off to me, but oh well, I can't wait until she gets here ^_^

Hi I'm Millie! I got my first BJD late last year but I only really started collecting this May. I currently have 5 dolls. Lily and I like making photostories and we have a few which you can see here, but since three of my dolls and one of hers are in the mail, that means I only have two at home so we're holding off doing anymore until our new dolls arrive.
